I am grateful to my mum, Nellie. She was the inspiration for the traditional Lancashire cook shop 'The Loving Bowlful'. The idea of opening a little Lancashire cook shop was her dream. I have included lots of her old recipes in the book, from yummy meat and potato pie with pickled red cabbage to tasty sticky Parkin for Guy Fawkes night. Enjoy!
